1st year students of KazNMU won 500,000 tenge in the Endowment Fund competition
April 10, 2024 at KazNMU S.D. Asfendiyarov, Endowment Fund with the support of the German company “SYSTAMATEC GmbH” for the first time successfully held a Startup competition for young students of KazNMU within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals. The competition participants presented projects that demonstrate significant potential for implementing sustainable initiatives, contributing to development both at the University and in society as a whole.
Three jury members took part in the event, assessed the submitted projects and selected the winner. After careful consideration of all presentations, the jury determined the winner, who deserved a competition prize of 500,000 tenge. They were first-year students Musanova Nargiz and Ubaydolla Aldiyar with the project “Bioremediation of atmospheric pollution using phytoplankton”.
This competition promotes sustainable development by helping to implement new ideas and solutions that will contribute to environmental conservation and social development.
The Endowment Fund expresses gratitude to the German company “SYSTAMATEC GmbH”, represented by the company’s president Gunther Frank, for the effective support of students and young scientists of KazNMU.
