A priceless gift to the university from the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov
A wonderful gift to our university was made by the director of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Kazakhstan SC MES RK Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Kabuldinov Ziyabek Ermukhanovich. Books, monographs, encyclopedias, textbooks, collections of conferences in a large number in Kazakh, English and Russian.
The set of donated books includes «Qazaqstan tarıhy ensoklopedıa» in 3 volumes, «History of Astana», «Qazaq memlekettiligi jáne Alashorda», «From the history of the Great Steppe (the last quarter of the 18th century)», «Zhumabai Shayakhmetov. Documents and materials», «Artistic processing of wood and bone among the Kazakhs of the 19th-20th centuries», «Qazaqtyń kıeli jerleri», «Great names of the Great Steppe. Collection of Materials», «Sanjar Asfendıarov: ómiri men qyzmeti (1889-1938) Volume I», «Muslim and Orthodox missionaries in Kazakhstan: activities and results (XIX – early XX centuries), «Táýelsizdik jyldaryndaǵy Qazaqstannyń tarıh ǵylymynyń damýy. Dóńgelek ústeldiń materıaldar jınaǵy», «National liberation movement of the Kazakh people in the late 18th — early 20th centuries» and many others.
The Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences and Humanities successfully cooperates with the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (SC MES RK). The received books were transferred to the scientific library of the university.
