Cooperation between KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov and SamSMU within the framework of academic exchange program.
Within the academic exchange program on the invitation of Samarkand State Medical University (SamSMU) Musaev A.T., doctor of medical sciences, professor of Emergency and Urgent Care Department of KazNMU named after Asfendiyarov, read lectures, conducted practical classes for master and doctoral students on actual issues of acute medicine, research work and doing scientific projects, and also held webinar «Research work of young scientists, opportunities and prospects at present stage Conducted a master class and delivered lectures to the students of Pakhtacha Medical College of Public Health named after Abu Ali ibn Sina. He held a master class and delivered lectures to the students of Abu Ali ibn-Sin Medical Technical School of Public Health (Director — Nurbaev E.O.), a part of Samara State Medical University, on current issues of primary health care. Negotiations on the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Medical College of Uzbekistan and Republican Higher Medical College (General Director- N.B. Ruzdenova) located in Almaty, Kazakhstan are underway.
SamSMU has 11 thousand students including 2 thousand foreign students and 100 doctoral candidates collaborating with scientific educational institutions of CIS, Korea, USA, and Europe. During the conversation, a lot of students, especially the national, Uzbek group, took IELTS to continue their studies abroad, in Great Britain and Germany, in particular. During the visit, professor Musaev A.T. participated in the meeting of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, conducted by Minister Inoyatov A.Sh., during the meeting discussed issues of investment and cooperation with foreign partners to train medical personnel world-class. Participated in a conference dedicated to graduates of SamPI, which was attended by the Rector of the University Rizaev J.A., where he mentioned medical university graduates and prominent scientists of the world name Khaitov R.M., Academician, Director of Institute of Immunology in Russia, etc. He also met with graduates of SamPI-79 who came to Samarkand from the CIS and far abroad. Participation in the events allowed the increasing exchange of experience.
During a meeting with the faculty of SamSMU with the participation of the vice-rector on scientific work and innovations, Prof. Ziyadullaev Sh.H., Head of Chair of Pediatrics and head of the academic department, Prof. Garifullina L.M., Head of Chair of Pathological Anatomy with sectional biopsy course, Prof. Khamidova F.M., Prof. Rasulov S.K. and others discussed cooperation on scientific grants through collaborations. Prof. Musaev A.T. was invited to join the specialized council for thesis defense, the editorial board of medical journals, and the joint guidance of doctoral students.
According to the results of academic mobility, Professor A.T. Musaev was awarded a CERTIFICATE by the Rector of SamSMU J.A. Rizaev and a Letter of Gratitude addressed to M.E. Shoranov, Rector of S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU for strengthening further cooperation between universities through collaboration, visiting-professor, and academic mobility.
