NCJSC Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University announces the contest for the academic mobility of the «Public Health» undergraduate educational program at US universities for the fall semester of 2023 — 2024 academic year.
Submission of documents for participation in the contest within the academic mobility at the expense of the republican budget carried out in accordance with the order of the acting Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 5, 2023 No. 199 «On approval of the number of places for studying abroad as part of academic mobility for 2023»

Students who can takes part in the competition must comply with:
- The 2022 – 2023 academic year 3rd course “Public Health” educational program students studying in state grants;
- Having a grade point average (GPA) at least 2.5 during their studies
- Language proficiency level: IELTS — not less than 5.0 or TOEFL not less than 35
- Taking an active part in the public life of the university
List of required documents for participation in the program:
- Application addressed to the University’s Rector (download template)
- English Transcript for the study period (sent the request to the Registrar’s Office)
- Language proficiency level. The applicant provides one of the following documents:
- IELTS certificate (5.0 and higher);
- TOEFL certificate (35 points and higher);
- A letter of consent from a foreign University to accept a student with an existing language proficiency level;
If there are other requirements for English Language proficiency level by the host, the host requirements will apply.
- Diplomas and certificates (copies)
- Passport copy of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Medical certificate (to those who travel abroad) in the N072/U form
- Document on the composition of the family, for large families;
- The document confirming the absence of the student’s parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care (in the presence);
- The document confirming the student’s disability.
The selection of candidates is carried out by the Commission for the selection of applicants in accordance with the «Rules of direction for study abroad, including within academic mobility» approved by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan order dated November 19, 2008 N613.
Deputy deans carry out consultations on the issues of the competition.
Time schedule:
1) The Academic work Department works from Monday until Friday from 9.00 am to 06.00 pm with a lunch break between 12.30 and 14.30 except weekends and holidays in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2) Receiving documents and issue of result of rendering the state service is carried out between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm with a lunch break between 1.00 pm and 2.30 pm
3) Reception is conducted on a first-come first-served basis without prior appointment and expedited service.
