The textbook «Emergency care for seizures in children» was written based on the results of academic mobility and the existing memorandum between the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (Rector — Shoranov M.E.) and the Samarkand State Medical University (Rector — Rizayev Zh.A.), dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of S.D. Asfendiyarov — the first rector of ASMI (now KazNMU) and his sister Gulsum Asfendiyarova — a graduate of the St. Petersburg Women’s Medical Institute, the first female doctor in Central Asia.
Academic mobility promotes close cooperation between universities through collaboration in the framework of educational, training, and scientific development. Based on the results of academic mobility, MD, Professor Musayev A.T. of the Department of Emergency and Urgent Medical Care of Asfendiyarov KazNMU and MD, Professor of Samarkand State Medical University Rasulov S.K., as well as employees of Asfendiyarov KazNMU PhD, Professor Nurmakhanova Zh.M., PhD, Professor Nurgaliyeva Zh.Zh., MD, Professor Seisebayeva R.Zh. published a textbook «Emergency Care for Convulsions in Children». The textbook contains modern issues of the clinic, diagnosis and treatment of children with convulsive syndrome. The manual examines in detail various aspects of this problem: the causes of convulsive syndrome in children, clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods and approaches to treatment.
