Public Talk MUSE — an inspiring event where science and art come together
The main goal of the Public Talk MUSE exhibition is to present science through visual art, demonstrate the interconnection between scientific and creative thinking, and highlight the role of women in science and art as innovators who bring new ideas and approaches. This exhibition showcased the complementary importance of science and art in understanding the world and proved that artistic forms can be an effective tool for conveying complex scientific concepts to the public in an accessible and engaging way.
The exhibition was introduced by the event organizer — Head of the Department of HIV Infection Epidemiology and Infection Control, G.A. Mergenova. The event was attended by faculty members S. Sazhigitova, Zh. Beisenbinova, M. Dikhan, as well as students from groups OZ22-003k, OZ22-004k, ST24-008k, MPD24-001k, and MPD23-003r.
The exhibition discussed modern intersections between science and art, new forms of scientific communication, and the role of women in science and the arts.
This event broadened the students’ professional and creative worldview and inspired them with new ideas.
