Open lectures of the international project «Scientists of the Future» at the School of Public Health named after H. Dosmukhamedov
December 11, 2025 at the School of Public Health named after H. Dosmukhamedov hosted open lectures by invited experts of the international project «Scientists of the Future». The event brought together students, undergraduates, teachers and all those interested in the digital transformation of healthcare and the development of modern technologies.
During the meeting, key trends in healthcare digitalization, the possibilities of using Big Data, artificial intelligence and neural network technologies, as well as the prospects for using digital solutions to increase the availability and quality of medical care, including in remote regions, were discussed.
Stanislav Sergeyevich Stragnov, PhD in Economics, Academic Director of the Master’s program «Applied Data Analysis in the Medical field» at MIPT, delivered a lecture on the topic:
«Digitalization of healthcare: Both Big Data, neural networks and the Internet make it possible to receive medical care even in the most remote regions.»
The speaker spoke in detail about the practical application of big data analysis in medicine, the use of digital platforms and telemedicine solutions, as well as the role of an interdisciplinary approach in the training of a new generation of specialists. The audience was particularly interested in real-world cases of the introduction of digital technologies into the healthcare system.
Ekaterina Anatolyevna Zhang, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Head of the Master’s degree program in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, a leading analyst at the Universities and Marketing consulting agency (Siberian Federal University of Space and Information Technologies), devoted her presentations to the following topics: How information technology is changing reality today; Artificial Intelligence: How to make this technology work for you; Positioning IT startups: how to become a visible signal, not a noise. The lectures discussed current trends in the development of AI, the effective use of technology in education, science and business, as well as practical recommendations for the development and promotion of IT startups. The speaker emphasized the importance of strategic thinking and competent positioning of projects in highly competitive conditions.
The open lectures aroused keen interest among the participants and were accompanied by an active discussion and questions from the audience. The event made a significant contribution to the development of students’ professional competencies and the strengthening of international academic cooperation in the field of public health and digital technologies.
