Academic Mobility of a Resident of the Department of Nervous Diseases of KazNMU at Tashkent State Medical University
Within the framework of the international academic mobility program in the 2025–2026 academic year, a second-year resident of the Department of Nervous Diseases of the S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, A. B. Arabova, successfully completed training in the city of Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan). The training was carried out at the Department of Neurology and Medical Psychology of Tashkent State Medical University under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Gulnora Sattarovna Rakhimbaeva, a recognized specialist in the field of modern clinical neurology and medical psychology.
During the internship, A. B. Arabova completed training in the following educational cycles:
- “Outpatient Neurology, Pediatric” – aimed at an in-depth study of the specifics of providing neurological care in outpatient settings, with an emphasis on pediatric neurological practice;
- “Imaging Methods in Neurology” – a course covering modern approaches to the diagnosis of nervous system diseases using neuroimaging technologies.
Completion of these training cycles enabled the participant to expand her clinical knowledge and practical skills, become familiar with the organization of neurological care in a foreign educational and clinical environment, and exchange experience with faculty members and residents of the host university.
This international internship represents an important step in the professional development of young healthcare specialists and strengthens academic cooperation between the S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University and Tashkent State Medical University, which serves as an active partner in educational and scientific initiatives between the two countries.
We congratulate resident A. B. Arabova on the successful completion of the program and wish her further success in professional development and in achieving new heights in her medical career.
