A round table on pulmonological rehabilitation will be held in Almaty

On February 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., a round table on the topic «Pulmonological rehabilitation: relevance, problems and prospects of an integrated approach to recovery» will be held at the Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 1 of the Almaty Public Health Department.

The event is dedicated to topicalissues of recovery of patientswithrespiratorydiseases, taking into account the closerelationship between physicalandmentalhealth. The participants will discussmodernapproachestocomprehensivemedical and socialpulmonologicalrehabilitation,aswell as the prospects for the development of thisserviceinamegalopolis.

The main objectives of the round table are to enhance the professional competence of specialists involved in complex rehabilitation, exchange practical experience and discuss the introduction of modern innovative technologies and interdisciplinary approaches into clinical practice.

The moderators of the round table are:

— UOZ of Almaty, CCH 1, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the NAO «Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov», as well as the course «Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation» of the NGO «Kazakh-Russian Medical University».

The round table will be attended by staff of specialized departments, specialists from multidisciplinary medical organizations, rehabilitologists, pulmonologists, residents.
