March 18 – «National Costume Day»

Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University celebrated National Costume Day. At the clinical sites of the City Clinical Hospital №5 (Departments of Adult and Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery), faculty and students honored the traditions by wearing Kazakh national attire.

Participants:

Faculty: Menchisheva Yu.A., Kurishzhanova K.R., Uglanov Zh.Sh.

Students: 4th-year students (group ST21-30, cycle «Basics of Traumatology and Oncostomatology») and residents (years 1, 2, 3) of «Maxillofacial Surgery».

The event aimed to promote national traditions and strengthen cultural identity. Wearing traditional costumes within the university and hospital environment reflects deep respect for the nation’s historical heritage.
