A delegation from the Kingdom of Thailand visited Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov
On February 23, 2024, a meeting was held at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University with representatives from the Kingdom of Thailand. The Thai delegation included:

• Mr. Sorayos KIJPAKORN — Counselor;
• Mr. Phuritaht PENGYORK — Attaché;
• Mr. Yongyuth MAYALARP — Executive Director of Communications, Phyathai Hospital;
• Mr. Tawan WETAYAVIGROMRAT — Head of Venture & Investment, Thonburi Healthcare Group;
• Mr. Jadsada CHAILANGKA — Business Development Manager, Thonburi Healthcare Group;
• Mr. Varis LIMLAWAN — Lecturer, Dhurakij Pundit University;
• Ms. Galiya SHAMSHINOVA — Embassy Representative.
The Thai representatives expressed interest in establishing cooperation with the Kazakh National Medical University. Various aspects of educational opportunities for both sides were discussed, aiming to strengthen cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Thailand as a whole. Possibilities for student exchange within academic mobility programs were also considered. The meeting was productive and concluded with positive prospects for further cooperation.
