A Master Class on Rare Hemostasis Disorders Held in Almaty
On December 20, 2025, a master class titled “Rare Hemostasis Disorders in the Practice of a Hematologist” was held in Almaty. The event was organized by Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine at S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University Ramazanova R.M., with the participation of medical residents specializing in Adult Hematology.
The event made an important contribution to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being” and SDG 4 “Quality Education.”
Presentations were delivered by leading hematologists of Kazakhstan: Ramazanova R.M., Zagurskaya Y.E., Khan O.R., and Dushimova Z.D.
During the master class, modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of rare coagulopathies were discussed, and real clinical cases presented by resident physicians were analyzed.
The audience included first- and second-year residents, practicing hematologists from Almaty, and faculty assistants. The master class became another step toward strengthening practice-oriented education and training competent specialists in the field of rare blood disorders. Such events not only enhance professional qualifications but also make a tangible contribution to building a more sustainable and inclusive healthcare system.
