«Asfen.Forum, New Generation-2023»
For the first time in our history, we are holding a unique event that will bring together the most talented young scientists from more than 20 countries, including USA, China, Russia, Great Britain, Ireland, Finland, Turkey, Slovenia, Indonesia, South Korea, Poland, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Iran, Germany, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
«Asfen.Forum, New Generation-2023» aims to bring together academic communities, researchers and young scientists to exchange information, experience and research results in the field of healthcare in order to inspire and motivate the creative activity of the younger generation.
Main objective of the forum is to create a platform for networking and establishing joint links between professional scientists and practitioners for the purpose of long-term cooperation within the framework of integration of education, science, practice and business.
Participants will not only be able to present their achievements, share ideas and views, but also to take part in professionally organized seminars and courses where they can meet other gifted and enthusiastic young researchers who share their passion for medical knowledge. The Forum is international, interdisciplinary, and, which is also important, youth-oriented. This is an unique opportunity for all participants to share their fresh perspectives and new ideas, to bring new energy to the development of science.
Topical issues of various branches of sciences will be considered in the sections «Cardiology», «Oncology», «Gynecology», «Pediatrics», «Surgery», «Urology», «Public Health», «Biomedicine», «Pharmacy», «Dentistry», «Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine» and «Nursing».
Young scientists will present a number of interesting reports: «Anti-allergy vaccine», «Cell therapy — a promising method of treating cerebral palsy in Kazakhstan», «The impact of coronavirus infection on men’s reproductive health in ART programs», «Artificial intelligence and machine learning in radiation therapy», «Assessment of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the effectiveness of tuberculosis treatment in Almaty», «Outbreak of acute intestinal diarrhea in Talgar, Kazakhstan, February 2023».
A new drug to improve the health of the skin from rosehip, to improve the intestinal microflora, a new dietary supplement from Jungar mullein, mini-pill technology, a study on the effect of vitamin D on the kidneys will also be presented.
In addition, participants will talk about new methods of dental treatment, urological interventions, such as modern methods of minimally invasive treatment of premature ejaculation, new plastic surgery for head and neck tumors, pregnancy research after uterine body cancer and clinical experience of using the Luna EMG robot in early rehabilitation of post-stroke patients.
Within the framework of «Asfen.Forum, New Generation-2023» financial support for the best scientific developments will be provided to young scientists in the total amount of 5,700,000 tenge. There will be 12 holders of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, and a Grand Prix of 300 thousand tenge will be awarded. KazNMU together with JSC «Science Foundation» also organizes pitching of scientific projects of young scientists to business partners. A total of 10 projects will be presented. Pitching participants will receive feedback from businessmen and scientists, and may find sponsors to scale their ideas and projects.
