“Asfen.Forum, NEW GENERATION — 2024”
We invite you with great pleasure to take part in the II International Forum “Asfen.Forum, new generation-2024”, which will take place on June 6-7, 2024 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This Forum, dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Professor S.D. Asfendiyarov, will be a significant event uniting academic communities, researchers, young scientists and healthcare professionals.
The Forum’s primary goal is to facilitate idea exchange and strengthen collaboration between foreign and domestic partners in healthcare innovation and technology. We foresee fruitful discussions on current issues in oncology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, surgery and many other areas.
Representatives from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Almaty City Administration, foreign and domestic partner universities of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, scientists, healthcare organizers, academic staff, clinicians, investors, mentors, young scientists, businessmen, and other stakeholders are expected to participate at the Forum.
The Forum program includes competitions for young scientists with a prize fund from the KazNMU Endowment and competitions for personal scholarships from leading scientists. The forum will also offer opportunities for networking and establishing long-term professional connections.

These days, within the framework of the Forum, a number of conferences are planned under the auspices of the 135th anniversary of Sanzhar Asfendiyarov and within the framework of the 2nd International Forum “Asfen.forum, new generation-2024”:
- International scientific and practical conference “Priorities of pharmacy, pharmacology and clinical pharmacology: from theory to practice”;
- International Scientific and Practical Conference: ‘Biomedicine: Future Outlook,’ Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Department of Pathophysiology and Tribute to the Memory of Honorary Professor A. Nurmukhambetov from Asfendiyarov KazNMU;
- International Congress “Dentistry of the XXI century: traditions, achievements and prospects”, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the first dental faculty”, prerequisite of the II International Forum “Asfen.forum, new generation-2024” (May 24, 2024).
- International scientific and practical conference “Together for a healthy world” jointly with the Almaty Public Health Department;
- The impact of the ERASMUS PLUS on enhancing the potential of higher education in Central Asia Universities.
Industry reactor for the commercialization of technologies in the Med-tech direction (in agreement with JSC Science Foundation).
A number of conferences will be held throughout the year with the participation of specialized associations and the KazNMU Endowment under the auspices of the 135th anniversary of Sanzhar Asfendiyarov and within the framework of the II International Forum “Asfen.forum, new generation-2024”.
The event format includes both in-person and online participation, allowing a wide range of participants to join us. The forum will be held in Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
