Associate Professor of the Department of Normal Physiology with a course in Biophysics, Alma Dandybayevna Nurakhova, has passed away
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Alma Dandybaevna Nurakhova, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Normal Physiology with a course in Biophysics.
Alma Dandybaevna graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine of Almaty State Medical Institute in 1991. After completing her postgraduate studies and successfully defending her Candidate’s dissertation, she began her scientific and pedagogical career at the Department of Biochemistry. Since 2020, she had continued her professional activity at the Department of Normal Physiology with a course in Biophysics.
Devoted to lifelong learning, Alma Dandybaevna pursued advanced studies and obtained a Master’s degree from JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland). With her profound knowledge and innovative research talent, she contributed significantly to the development of medical science and actively participated in the work of the Innovative Biomedical Research Laboratory of the School of General Medicine (Life Sciences).
She was a dedicated mentor, generously sharing her knowledge, experience, and energy with her students. Colleagues held her in high regard for her collegiality, kindness, and willingness to provide support.
The collective of S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, together with the staff of the Department of Normal Physiology with a course in Biophysics, extends its deepest condolences to the family, relatives, friends, and colleagues of Alma Dandybaevna Nurakhova.
She will be remembered with profound respect and gratitude as a bright, compassionate, and remarkable person.
