CAOS Team of KazNMU Won 3rd Place at the All-Russian Surgery Olympiad

On November 14–15, 2025, the All-Russian Olympiad of Residents and Students in Surgery with international participation was held in Perm, Russia. It was organized by the E. A. Wagner Perm State Medical University

The team competed under the guidance of Kulmira Belgozhaevna Abdykerimova, Associate Professor of the Department of General Surgery and Topographic Anatomy at S. D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU.

The participants demonstrated a high level of professional training, winning third place in several competition categories:

• Cardiac Wound Suture
• Gastric Resection with Double-Tracy Reconstruction
• Thoracic Surgery
• Plastic Surgery

The CAOS team from S. D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU took third place in the overall team standings.
