Educational Event of the Department of Public Health with Visiting Professor Dejan Nikolic

From April 6 to April 8, 2026, the Department of Public Health of the Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company “Kazakh National Medical University” hosted a dynamic educational event featuring Visiting Professor Dejan Nikolić, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade (Serbia).

Residents, master’s and doctoral students, as well as faculty members from the Departments of Public Health, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine actively participated in the lectures and practical seminars.

The program focused on modern approaches to rehabilitation in public health and clinical practice. Particular attention was given to the integration of interdisciplinary methods, improving the quality of healthcare, and the role of rehabilitation in enhancing patients’ quality of life.

The event became an important platform for knowledge exchange, professional dialogue, and strengthening international collaboration.
