International Collaboration in Action: Professor Bagiyarova F. A. Delivered a Master Class at Universities in Kyrgyzstan
From March 29 to April 2, 2025, within the framework of the academic mobility program, Professor of the Department of «Communication Skills» (SGM-1) from Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov, Bagiyarova F. A., together with Professor Asimov M. A. from Turan University, conducted a master class in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The educational event took place at two leading universities in Kyrgyzstan — the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) and the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. K. Akhunbaev (KSMA).
Topic of the master class: “The Psychology of Self-Control: Introduction to Self-Regulation and Coping Behavior Techniques.”
The target audience included lecturers, clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, and students studying psychology and medicine.
As part of the visit, a training seminar was also held:
“New Interventions by Mental Health Specialists: Short-Term Psychotherapy Using the ‘Self-Control’ Method.”
The seminar aimed to enhance the qualifications of professionals working in the mental health field. Participants learned about modern approaches to short-term psychotherapy and received practical tools for providing psychological and psychotherapeutic support for various mental disorders.
The organizer and coordinator of the program was the American University of Central Asia, with the support of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.
Professors Bagiyarova F. A. and Asimov M. A. expressed their sincere gratitude to:

This event became a vivid example of international academic cooperation and the exchange of professional expertise.
