International scientific and practical conference “Integration for life”
From September 18 to 20, 2025, the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H.A. Yasavi in Turkestan hosted the international scientific and practical conference “Integration for Life,” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the National Medical Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The conference was attended by leading experts in the field of medicine and pharmacy from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Bulgaria, Germany, Israel, Latvia, Russia, Uzbekistan, and other countries.
The conference featured master classes by international experts on robotic surgery, transplantology, neurosurgery, bioethics, legal protection, and digitalization of healthcare.
The conference also included a round table discussion on current issues in pharmaceutical education and interaction with employers.
Teachers from KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov took an active part in the round table: Shynar Mukhtarovna Kurmanaliyeva, chair of the Educational Programs Committee of the School of Pharmacy, and Aynash Kairatovna Baidullaeva, head teacher of the Department of Engineering Disciplines and Good Practices.
Representatives of the School of Pharmacy at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov shared their experience of holding annual round tables with industry partners. The Association for the Support and Development of Pharmaceutical Activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, represented by Marina Ivanovna Durmanova, as well as leading representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, including Medservice Plus, Fitoleum LLP, Kelun-Kazpharm LLP pharmaceutical plant, Abdi Ibrahim Global Pharm LLP, and others.
During joint meetings, the key role of consolidating the efforts of educational institutions, businesses, and professional associations to train competitive specialists in the pharmaceutical sector is emphasized.
Participants noted that systematic dialogue with employers is a key factor in improving the quality of training and adapting educational programs to the modern requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. The round table was attended by teachers from medical universities and colleges, representatives of relevant medical associations, the pharmaceutical business, and other interested parties.
Following the discussion, participants noted the need to improve cooperation between educational organizations and employers. Specific proposals were developed to improve educational programs and train specialists, taking into account the modern requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. The final recommendations were included in the conference resolution.
At the end of the conference, a final resolution was adopted, defining further steps for the development of international cooperation, medical education, and science.
