International Scientific Conference: Scientific Potential of Gifted Youth in Pharmacy
On May 2, in the city of Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, the International Scientific Conference titled “Scientific Potential of Gifted Youth in Pharmacy” was held at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. The event was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.
The conference included a plenary session and several sectional meetings with the participation of partner universities, including the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. Participants of the conference discussed current trends and innovations in pharmaceutical education, analyzing prospects and opportunities for the implementation of modern educational technologies. Special attention was given to the impact of digital tools, interactive teaching methods, simulation technologies, and other innovative approaches on the training of specialists in pharmaceutical disciplines.
Much attention was also paid to improving the quality of education in these areas to ensure the successful adaptation of graduates to the rapidly changing conditions of healthcare and pharmaceutical practice.
The conference was held in a hybrid format (in-person and online) via Zoom. After the plenary session, participants continued their work in 12 thematic sections:

- Department of Medical and Biological Sciences (Department of Medical and Biological Sciences)
- Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy (Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy)
- Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Department of Biotechnology)
- Department of Innovative Education in Pharmacy (Departments of Physics, Mathematics, and Information Technology)
- Department of Foreign Languages and Social Sciences in Pharmacy (Departments of Uzbek Language and Literature, and Social Sciences)
At this meeting, participants delivered insightful reports, including representatives from Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, and Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.
The papers and presentations submitted to the conference reflected experiences, achievements, and the results of current scientific research in the field of pharmaceutical education and held both theoretical and/or practical significance. Presentations related to the application of artificial intelligence in medicine and pharmacy generated particular interest among participants.
The works presented by participants were published in the scientific proceedings of the conference.
A fourth-year student of the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Production Technology, Aiymaiydoskyzy Bakytnova, under the scientific supervision of Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor, and Dean of the School of Pharmacy Zuriad Bektamirovna Sakipova, presented a report on the topic “Pharmaceutical Development of a Lipophilic Gel with Rosehip Extract (Rosa L.)”, which was highly praised by the expert commission and won an honorable second place within its section.
