The first year MBA students «Management in Healthcare» of the joint educational program of S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU and Suleyman Demirel University have successfully completed a foreign internship on healthcare management system in Acibadem Corporation and Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University (Turkey, Istanbul). Suleyman Demirel successfully completed a foreign internship on health care management system in Acibadem Corporation and Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University (Turkey, Istanbul) with the assistance of Medical Tour company in the period from June 16 to June 24, 2023.
The international internship program was designed specifically for our master students and aimed at demonstrating foreign practices in the field of healthcare management.
The theoretical part was held in Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University. The practical part of the internship fully covered the visit to 5 specialized branches of Acibadem clinics network in Istanbul.
The students met with the directors of the clinics, were trained by professional doctors on the functioning of each clinic, familiarized with the equipment of the clinics, financing, management and personnel policy, the latest technologies used in the clinics, etc. The practical part of the internship was fully covered.
In general, the internship was held at a high level, master students received new knowledge, new emotions. At the end of the internship master students were solemnly awarded international certificates in health management.
