Introductory Seminars on the theme “Grants for innovation – European Union Horizon 2020 Framework Program in Researches and innovation was held on the 17th of March and 1st of April 2015 in the reading hall of KazNMU library by the department of management and innovation Research Department, Atchabarov Research Institute of Fundamental and Applied Medicine, KazNMU
The aim of the seminar was to provide information about European Union Horizon 2020 Framework Program in researches and innovation and develop necessary skills for work with electronic platform of European Union Horizon 2020 Framework Program to be able to apply for the grants.
Alfiya Shamsutdinova, Head of Management and Innovation Research Department, presented general information on European Union Horizon 2020 Framework Program. She pointed out to aims, priority trends of grants, financial conditions of project applications for innovation and research. Then Aybek Smagul , Junior researcher, Center collective usage., made a presentation “From ideas to proposals and How to start?”, paying attention to main stages of project application.
After the theoretical part of the seminar participants and trainers passed to practical session. Every participant has registered on portal of Horizon 2020Framework Program, and then has been introduced to portalunits, got acquainted with sessions in order to get for application. Great attention was paid for search of European partners, acquaintance and registration on the site CORDIS.
At the end of the seminar participants asked questions and trainers answered them. So then it was suggested to fill in application forms with seminar’s value and recommendations to improve training. In conclusion the participants got certificates.
These seminars are planning to be conducted in future on a regular basis according to the faculty demand. Pre-registration for seminar participation is needed.
