IX CONGRESS OF PEDIATRICIANS OF UZBEKISTAN WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

 The congress, which took place from October 4-6, 2024, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, was attended by health organizers, heads and specialists of multidisciplinary children’s centers, perinatal centers, chief specialists and scientists in the field of child health from all regions of Uzbekistan, as well as from 15 countries near and far abroad.

      Reports were made by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khudayarov A.A., Deputy Minister Basitkhanova E.I., MD, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (RSNPMC) Inoyatova F.I., head of programs for universal newborn hearing screening, cochlear implantation in children and their rehabilitation in Uzbekistan, Director of the Pediatric Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan (RNPMC), MD, Professor Abdukayumov A.A., Rector of TashPMI, MD, Professor Daminov B.T. and others, as well as scientists from the USA, Germany, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc. From Kazakhstan KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarova (rector – Shoranov M.E.) was introduced by MD, Professor Musaev A.T. The co-speaker was Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, MD, Professor Yeralieva L.T. Topical issues of pediatrics and primary health care at the present stage were raised.

The materials of the congress contain articles by our doctoral students together with scientists from SamSMU (rector – Rizaev Zh.A.) Rasulov S.K. and Garifulina L.M. on the results of academic mobility and scientific cooperation.   Negotiations were held with colleagues of the IX Congress of Pediatricians of Uzbekistan with international participation on the preparation of an international project and joint training of personnel, including Ph.D. doctors.
