KazNMU Faculty Successfully Completed an Internship at Medipol University (Turkey)
From April 28 to May 11, 2025, within the framework of the programs «Academic Mobility of Teaching Staff» and «Proportion of Teaching Staff under 45 Who Have Completed Internships at Leading Foreign Universities,» Head of the Department of Nutrition named after Academician T. Sharmanov, Candidate of Medical Sciences M.S. Kainarbayeva, and Associate Professor with an academic title A.K. Beisbekova successfully completed a planned internship at Medipol University (Istanbul, Turkey).
During the visit, lectures, master classes, and training sessions were conducted for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as for young professionals in the fields of “Nutrition Science,” “Clinical Dietetics,” and “Sports Nutrition.” All educational activities were carried out in full. Students of Medipol University showed a high level of interest in the presented materials, actively participated in the learning process, and expressed strong motivation for further professional development in clinical dietetics.
The high level of pedagogical expertise and practical experience of the KazNMU faculty made a significant contribution to the development of students’ professional competencies. As part of the internship, meetings were also held with representatives of international organizations such as EFAD (European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians) and ENDietS (European Network of Dietetic Students), where opportunities for further collaboration were discussed.
Together with colleagues from Medipol University, the participants explored prospects for joint scientific projects, academic mobility expansion, and experience exchange. Such initiatives contribute to strengthening professional ties between countries, enhancing specialist qualifications, and broadening the scope of international cooperation in education and science.
This visit marked an important step in the development of scientific and educational partnership between KazNMU and Medipol University, opening new opportunities for the training of highly qualified personnel in the field of healthcare.
