KazNMU Hosts a Small Job Fair with Representatives of Kostanay and North Kazakhstan Regions
On February 2, 2026, S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU) hosted a Small Job Fair with the participation of representatives from the Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions.
The event was attended by 16 representatives from the Kostanay Region and 10 representatives from the North Kazakhstan Region, including heads of regional healthcare departments and chief physicians of medical organizations.
From the Kostanay Region, the Head of the Regional Healthcare Department, Yerkebulan Sagitdinovich Bayazitov, delivered a vivid and informative presentation. From the North Kazakhstan Region, Saken Omerserikovych Amrin, Head of the North Kazakhstan Regional Healthcare Department, also addressed the audience. In their speeches, they highlighted the regions’ staffing needs, available medical vacancies, working conditions, and measures of social support for young specialists.
Chief physicians of healthcare organizations shared practical information on working conditions, professional development opportunities, mentoring systems, and the adaptation of young specialists in regional medical institutions.
A special highlight of the event was the participation of KazNMU alumni from previous years who currently hold senior leadership positions in the regional healthcare system. Among the speakers were:
- Nurlan Bagdauletovich Aimanov, Class of 2007 — General Director of the Multidisciplinary Regional Hospital (SE on the Right of Economic Management);
- Nuraly Yeraliyevich Abuov, Class of 2007 — Acting Director of City Polyclinic No. 2;
- Nauryzbay Parkhatuly Amangeldi, Class of 2016 — Director of the Arkalyk Regional Hospital (SE).
During the meeting, participants also discussed social support measures for young specialists, including housing provision and relocation allowances, as well as the climatic features of the regions, living conditions, and the historical and cultural landmarks of the Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions.
The Small Job Fair served as an effective platform for open dialogue between employers and future graduates, enabling students to obtain first-hand information about employment opportunities in the regions and make informed decisions regarding their professional careers.
KazNMU plans to continue organizing similar events aimed at supporting graduate employment and strengthening cooperation with regional partners.
