Members of the scientific club “Dandy-Neuron Neurosurgical Club” presented their work at the first stage of the intra-university Student Scientific Research competition
The Department of Nervous Diseases at S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU) places great emphasis on the research activities of students, interns, and residents, fostering their research experience and enhancing the quality of scientific work. Undoubtedly, this approach is a key way to develop and elevate the professional skills of future specialists, enabling a deeper analysis of practical skills. The active work of the joint scientific club “Dandy-Neuron Neurosurgical Club,” organized by the Department of Nervous Diseases and the S. Akshulakov Department of Neurosurgery, implements the principle of the triad of medical training, scientific research, and clinical practice. This ensures more comprehensive and targeted preparation of future neurologists and neurosurgeons.
