Motivational meeting with Professor Natalia Petrovna Bogatova
On November 11, 2025, a motivational meeting in the format of a podcast was held at the Department of Histology of the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University with Professor Natalia Petrovna Bgatova, Doctor of Biological Sciences and Head of the Laboratory of Ultrastructural Research at the Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Lymphology (Novosibirsk, Russia).
The event was organized by Rosa Sakhievna Omarova, Assistant Professor of the Department of Histology, and Aliya Bagybekkyzy. The meeting was attended by Maral Zhunusbekovna, Head of the Department and Associate Professor, Kuanish Faritovich Amantaev, Deputy Dean of the School of General Medicine-1, faculty members, and second-year students of the School of General Medicine and the Faculty of Pediatrics.
Professor Natalia Petrovna Bgatova presented her modern scientific views on the development of morphology, emphasizing its importance in biomedical research and clinical practice. She paid special attention to the mechanisms of tumor growth, metastasis, and structural changes in the lymphatic system under pathological conditions, as well as the integration of morphological methods with molecular, biochemical, and digital approaches.Of particular interest was her presentation of experimental research on the use of lithium, which demonstrated positive therapeutic effects and opened new perspectives for innovative treatment methods.
During the meeting, students actively asked questions about the use of electron and confocal microscopy, digital morphometry, and the role of morphological thinking in shaping a physician’s clinical perspective.
The event helped strengthen students’ interest in scientific research and became an inspiring platform for developing their research potential in morphology and related disciplines.
