Nauryznama–2026: Meaningful days at the department of microbiology, virology
In March 2026, within the framework of the initiatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan to celebrate Nauryz, as well as in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 11, a number of events aimed at preserving and developing cultural heritage were successfully held at the Department of microbiology, virology during the Nauryznama decade.
In this regard, the “National Clothing” celebration, aimed at promoting national values, was widely held at the department. The event was actively attended by the faculty members of the department of microbiology, virology, as well as advisor groups. Participants wore traditional national attire and organized a meaningful event focused on fostering respect for customs and traditions.
In addition, a “Unity Day” was organized with the active participation of students and faculty members, promoting the values of solidarity and mutual understanding. To summarize the event, a special video was produced, capturing the most vivid moments of the celebration, the active engagement of participants, and their positive spirit.
Furthermore, as part of the Cleanliness Day, activities aimed at developing environmental awareness and maintaining cleanliness were carried out. During the event, students and faculty cleaned the department’s territory and surrounding areas of the academic building, contributing to environmental protection. Participants actively took part in waste collection efforts. This initiative helped to foster a caring attitude towards nature and encouraged maintaining cleanliness and order.

Overall, these initiatives carried out within the Nauryznama decade significantly contributed to enhancing students’ national identity, respect for cultural heritage, and strengthening social responsibility in society. The events promoted patriotism, appreciation of unity and harmony, and the popularization of national traditions, positively influencing the spiritual and moral development of students. Moreover, such educational initiatives help shape an active civic position among students and increase their interest in public life. Activities aimed at reviving national values deepen historical awareness and lay the foundation for educating a conscious generation capable of contributing to the country’s development.
