Orientation Day for 1st-Year Students of the International Faculty
On November 14, 2024, the International Faculty took an important step to warmly and engagingly welcome 270 new international 1st course students beginning their studies at the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU).
The welcoming ceremony was marked by inspiring speeches from the esteemed rector who expressed their support and encouragement to the new students, providing them with the much-needed motivation and guidance.
Organized by student organizers SDF IS, the event featured a variety of performances in a variety of styles and genres: classical, western, hip hop, vocal numbers, rap, and comedy sketches. Each of them added a unique flavor to the atmosphere of the holiday.
A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of KazNMU student organizations, where newcomers could choose creative teams and clubs that suited their interests. The organizers also shared important university rules and provided essential information to help students start their studies successfully.
