Report on the Meeting with 2026 Graduates
Information and Awareness Session with 2026 Graduates on the Fulfillment of Obligations under the State Educational Grant, Distribution Procedures, Exemption from Mandatory Employment, and Cooperation with JSC “Financial Center”
The meeting was attended by:
• Vice-Rector of the University — U.M. Datkhaev;
• Head of the Department for Student Development and Support — Sh.R. Shermet;
• Deans and deputy deans, as well as staff of the dean’s offices;
• Staff of the Career and Employment Center;
• Representative of JSC “Financial Center” — A. Tynybekov.
Approximately 789 graduates of 2026 took part in the meeting, including:
• Undergraduate level – 370 participants, among them:
352 – majoring in Pharmaceutical Production Technology;
18 – in Pharmacy;
• Internship – 306 participants, among them:
157 – in General Medicine;
137 – in Pediatrics;
12 – from the International Faculty;
• Residency – 113 participants.
In his welcoming remarks, Vice-Rector U.M. Datkhaev emphasized the importance of the event for graduates completing their studies under the state educational grant and the rural quota.
Head of the Career and Employment Center, Zh.T. Kashaganova, provided information on employment procedures, categories of individuals exempted from mandatory employment, as well as the Center’s activities aimed at assisting graduates in finding job opportunities.
Representative of JSC “Financial Center”, A. Tynybekov, gave a detailed presentation on the mechanisms for monitoring and controlling the mandatory three-year employment period, the rules for notifying about employment, and the procedures for interaction with graduates through the 1414 system.
During the meeting, graduates showed high engagement and raised questions on the following topics:
• Procedures and conditions for exemption from mandatory employment;
• Reporting and verification of employment activities;
• Possibility of choosing a workplace (public or private institutions);
• Notification process through 1414;
• Liability for refusal to fulfill employment obligations and procedures for repayment of grant funds.
The meeting was held in a constructive and open manner. Graduates received detailed clarifications on all issues related to the legal framework and practical aspects of fulfilling obligations under the state educational grant.
Recommendations:
• Continue informing graduates at the faculty level;
• Organize additional individual consultations at the Career and Employment Center;
• Strengthen cooperation with JSC “Financial Center” to ensure timely information exchange.
