Round table of young scientists «A modern view on innovative national food»
November 30, 2018 In the conference hall of the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition, was held a round table of young scientists on the topic “A Modern view on Innovative National Foods” organized by the department “Nutriciology with a course of preventive medicine” of National Medical University, with the participation of the Kazakh National Agrarian University and al-Farabi KazNU. The event was planned according to the plan of the department of science and innovation.
The purpose of the round table: In the framework of the implementation of the Program of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev “Ruhani Zhangyru” and “Five Social Initiatives” to improve the living standards of Kazakhstan population, the round table of young scientists is designed to facilitate the exchange of experience, the definition of promising directions for the development of national food products, and the improvement of nutrition, and most importantly the promotion of national traditions. Preserving and enhancing the traditions of the university, promoting its history, symbols and values.
Lectures and students of the scientific group “Dyrys tamaқtanu — densaulyk kepili”, curator groups of the department “Nutricology with a course of preventive medicine” NMU, undergraduates and students of the department “Technology and food safety” of KazNAU and the department «Epidemiology, biostatistics and evidence-based medicine» of al-Farabi KazNU took an active part in the round table.
The round table was opened with a welcoming speech by Academician Sharmanov T.Sh., who emphasized the value of national food products and the most important priorities in the development of national fermented milk products. In the round table, the speakers of NMU are familiar with products developed by the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition on the basis of mare’s milk, as an analogue of the longevity product and safe nutrition. Students KazNAU shared information about the current state of dairy and meat production and ways of development for the future. Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University spoke about the importance of public policy and international requirements for the safety of domestic products. After the presentation, there was a discussion, and the guests of the round table thanked for the organization of the NMU and wished more joint work in the field of nutrition, so that this event would become traditional. Deputy Dean of the School of Public Health Orazayev Ye.T. stressed the importance of such an event and thanked all the participants of the round table. Head of the Department of Nutrition, Kaynarbaeva MS thanked all the participants for their active participation and presented certificates of participation.
