Scientific and Practical Conference «Current Issues in Child Nutrition in an Age-Related Context»

On March 25, 2026, the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation was held in Uzbekistan at the Tashkent State Medical University (TSMU).

Over 200 scientists from higher medical educational institutions and healthcare practitioners participated in the conference, where current issues in child nutrition were discussed. The Deputy Minister of Health of Uzbekistan and vice-rectors of medical universities participated in this conference.

Representing KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.T. Musayev presented a report at the plenary session on the topic «The Effectiveness of Using Mare’s Milk (Saumal) in Pediatric Practice.» This report generated interest among the conference participants, and a resolution was adopted to include saumal in the diet of children.
