Scientific-practical conference “Modern aspects of neurology”
On the eve of the “University Days December 5-6, 2019”, the Department of Nervous Diseases with a course of neurosurgery will hold a city scientific-practical conference “Modern aspects of neurology”, which will be held on December 4, 2019, beginning at 15.30. Venue: City Clinical Hospital №1.
This event will help to increase professional knowledge, high motivation in the development of scientific and practical potential. The conference will be attended by neurologists, general practitioners, GPs, neurosurgeons, neurorehabilitologists in Almaty, interns, residents of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarova and other medical universities. The event will be of great information and educational importance, since the most pressing issues of modern neurology from the point of view of evidence-based medicine will be discussed.
At the conference, the presentation of leading neurologists of Kazakhstan is planned. So, Professor Nurguzhayev E.S. — President of the Association of Neurologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Associate Professor Atantayeva E.B. issues of sleep disturbance, their significance in the development of a large burden of noncommunicable diseases will be highlighted and ways to correct them will be outlined. In the report of Professor Raimkulov B.N. the most significant differential diagnostic criteria for pain syndromes in the practice of a neurologist will be heard, which will be extremely informative and useful not only for inpatient doctors, but also for primary health care. Head of the Department Turuspekova S.T. will acquaint the audience with European standards for the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive impairment and dementia in cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.
We sincerely hope that this conference will help to improve the professional level of doctors, interns, and residents.
