Seven years of creative leadership”: the department of microbiology,virology discussed Kazakhstan’s key development achievements
The faculty members of the Department of Microbiology, Virology, advisors, and students of the advisor groups held a discussion of the article by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, titled “Seven Years of Confident and Creative Leadership.”
During the meeting, participants thoroughly reviewed the key directions of the country’s socio-economic development presented in the article. Special attention was given to the achievements and future prospects of the healthcare and education systems, as well as to measures aimed at improving the quality of medical care and modernizing medical education.
Within the framework of the discussion, the faculty emphasized the importance of implementing modern educational technologies, developing research activities, and training competitive specialists in the field of medicine. Particular attention was also paid to the role of preventive medicine, the digitalization of healthcare, and strengthening the scientific potential of medical universities.
Advisors, together with students, discussed the significance of the ongoing reforms for future medical professionals, their professional development, and their contribution to the advancement of the national healthcare system. Students actively shared their opinions, asked questions, and expressed their ideas on the development of science, education, and medical practice.
The event was aimed at fostering students’ civic responsibility, increasing their interest in scientific and professional activities, and enhancing their understanding of the country’s strategic development priorities.
