Strengthening International Partnership: Visit of Faculty Members from Andijan State Medical Institute to KazNMU
As part of the bilateral agreement on international cooperation between S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU) and Andijan State Medical Institute (ASMI, Republic of Uzbekistan), the Department of Neurology at KazNMU hosted esteemed colleagues — Associate Professors Nigina Askarovna Nasriddinova and Malika Shukhratovna Khozhimatova — from May 26 to June 1, 2025.
This visit was organized within the framework of academic mobility and included a training cycle titled “Inpatient Neurology” for KazNMU residents, as well as lectures and practical classes on “General and Special Neurology.” Throughout the week, the specialists from Andijan generously shared their professional experience, presented modern clinical approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases, actively discussed clinical cases, and engaged the audience in interdisciplinary discussions.
KazNMU residents enthusiastically participated in the training, noting the high practical value of the presented material. They sincerely thanked the guests for the opportunity to broaden their professional horizons and enrich their knowledge with new clinical tools and insights. The atmosphere of collaboration was dynamic, vibrant, and truly inspiring, contributing to the strengthening of the academic community and the spirit of mutual understanding between the two universities.
Such visits serve as an important platform not only for the transfer of knowledge but also for building sustainable academic bridges between the countries of the region. They contribute to the formation of a unified educational space and the development of an advanced medical school in Central Asia.
KazNMU expresses its deep gratitude to Andijan State Medical Institute for their trust and the high professionalism of its faculty members. We are confident that this collaboration will continue to grow stronger and bring tangible benefits to both sides.
