The International Student Olympiad «Live life to the fullest – be healthy»
The Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov invites you to take part in the International student olympiad «Live life to the fullest – be healthy», organized by the Department of Public Health.
Purpose of the Olympiad: To enhance students’ theoretical and practical training, develop their scientific potential, creative and professional skills, and foster interest in public health and preventive medicine.
Objectives of the Olympiad:
- Development of students’ professional competencies;
- Improvement of specialist training in the field of public health;
- Promotion of students’ creative abilities, identification and support of talented youth for research activities;
- Strengthening international cooperation between medical universities.
Participants:
Students of medical universities are invited to participate.
Format of the Olympiad:
The online Olympiad will be held in two stages:
- Stage I: April 27, 2026 — Student testing on public health topics (50 test questions — 50 minutes). The average team score will be calculated based on individual results of each team member. Assessment is based on a 50-point system. The link to the test will be sent to participants’ email addresses at 17:00 (Astana time).
- Stage II: Video contest on the topic: Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle Among Youth»
Submission deadline: April 30, 2026
Evaluation criteria for video submissions:
Duration must not exceed 3 minutes.
Relevance to the topic, social significance, creativity and originality, content quality, technical execution, practical significance — maximum score 50 points.

- When summing up the results of the student subject Olympiad, the members of the competition committee determine the winners in the team competition. The team with the highest score based on the results of the two stages of the Olympiad is recognized as the winner.
Diplomas and certificates will be sent to the E-mail address of the participants.

Awarding:
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad team competition are awarded with diplomas of I, II and III degrees, as well as certificates of participants. Additionally, individual prizes are provided.
