VII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Formation and Prospects for the Development of the Scientific School of Pharmacy: Continuity of Generations»
The VII International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the memory of Professor R. Dilbarkhanov and titled «Formation and Prospects for the Development of the Scientific School of Pharmacy: Continuity of Generations,» took place on June 4th and 5th, 2025, as part of the «ANaMed Forum – New Generation 2025» International Forum. The forum served as a significant event, bringing together academic communities, researchers, young scientists, and healthcare professionals.
The Forum’s goal was to foster the exchange of ideas and strengthen cooperation between international and domestic partners in the field of innovation and high technologies in healthcare. The main focus of the Forum was the application of artificial intelligence in medicine. Participants shared experiences, discussed current issues, and presented innovative solutions aimed at improving diagnostics, personalized treatment, telemedicine, clinical processes, and other aspects of healthcare through the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
The conference, held as part of the Forum, was organized by the departments of the School of Pharmacy.

The conference’s goal — to integrate science, education, and practice into the field of pharmacy.
The main thematic areas of the conference included:
- History and Legacy of the School of Pharmacy.
- Organizational and Economic Issues of Pharmaceutical Activity and Marketing Research of the Drug Market.
- Modern Technologies, Production of Synthetic and Natural Origin Medicinal Products, and Medical Devices.
- Quality Control and Standardization of Medicinal Products.
- Pharmacognostic Analysis of Medicinal Plant Raw Materials, Standardization of Plant-Origin Medicinal Products.
- Current Issues in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacology, and Clinical Pharmacology.
- Current State and Prospects for the Development of Cosmeceuticals and Cosmetology.
- Modern Biological/Biotechnological Medicinal Products. Current Issues of Development and Prospects of Use.
- Concept of Quality Assurance for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices within GxP.
Over 100 participants attended the conference, including professors from leading universities in non-CIS countries and CIS countries such as Ireland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Indonesia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. This also included representatives from practical pharmacy, public organizations from Karaganda, Almaty, and Shymkent, as well as faculty and students from Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU).
During the conference, two third-year Pharmacy students, Abdiyakim Aksaule and Feride Abdurakhimova, were awarded Professor R. Dilbarkhanov’s named scholarships.

Following the competition, participants were awarded cash prizes and certificates.
As part of the Forum, an award ceremony for the winners of the Young Scientists’ Competition was held. Based on the results of 14 sections and 5 conferences, 19 laureates were identified at the university level – talented researchers, teachers, and clinicians who presented the most promising projects. The topics of their works covered areas such as biomedicine, surgery, nuclear medicine, women’s health, neurology, urology, pharmacy, and other fields.
The laureate of the ANaMed Forum – New Generation 2025 Young Scientists’ Competition was announced:
- Rakhimova Nargiz Akhmetzhanovna, KazNMU — Participation in the VII International Pharmacy Conference.
The conference concluded with the following resolution:
- Further development of Professor R. Dilbarkhanov’s Scientific School (publication of scientific and methodological materials, commercialization of research results).
- Development of clinical pharmacy.
- Development of new scientific directions at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology:
Production of radiopharmaceutical preparations
Improvement of the cosmetology laboratory
Development of the direction — technology of parapharmaceutical products.
- Introduction of changes and additions to regulatory legal acts governing pharmaceutical activities into the scientific and educational process.
- Development of international cooperation with partner universities on academic mobility programs for faculty and students, visiting professor programs, and scientific internship programs for doctoral students and faculty in QS-ranked universities.
- Implementation of the operational plan of the School of Pharmacy for 2025-2028.
- Improvement of the material and technical base of the departments of the School of Pharmacy through annual procurement of equipment, substances, and reagents, as well as within the framework of scientific projects.
- Conducting professional development courses for faculty and practical workers in accordance with qualification requirements on an ongoing basis.
- Development of dual and double-degree education.
- Development of industrial pharmacy as a field involved in the development, production, quality control, registration, sale, pharmacovigilance, and other issues related to the pharmaceutical production of medicines.
