Academic mobility is a crucial element in integrating education into the global community, indicating the competitiveness of the national education system. For universities, it also serves as an indicator of the attractiveness and quality of educational programs. With globalization, interest in academic mobility is increasing, attracting attention from both researchers and faculty in the field of education. From May 13th to May 17th, 2024, as part of academic mobility, Professor Z.A. Yuldashev and Associate Professor M.I. Nurm\u0430tova from the Department of Toxicological Chemistry, as well as Associate Professors F.A. Pulatova, D.A. Ergashev, and N.K. Chinibekova from the Department of Organic Synthesis of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, visited the chemistry department and the department of pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry, pharmacognosy, and botany. Thanks to the signed memorandum between the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University and the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, joint integration practical classes for students of the 2nd and 3rd years study of the «Pharmacy» and «Technology of Pharmaceutical Production» specialties were conducted by professors G.A. Kagazbekova, A.Zh. Talipbekova, G.E. Erlan, G.A. Aldibekova, I.A. Kuksina, S.I. Ospanova, and N.A. Rakhimova.<\/p>\n

With Kazakhstan’s accession to the European educational space supported by the government, the academic mobility of students and faculty from domestic universities is actively developing. Many educational institutions, drawing on international experience and considering the specifics of the Kazakhstan education system, are developing international educational programs and projects aimed at preparing highly qualified professionals demanded in the job market.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

The development of academic mobility for students and faculty is a crucial tool in supporting international workforce preparation. It provides students, faculty, and university administrative staff with the opportunity to visit other educational institutions to exchange experiences, access opportunities that may not be available in their universities, overcome national boundaries, and gain a pan-European perspective. During the week, Professor Z.A. Yuldashev and M.I. Nurm\u0430tova conducted a master class on the topic «Analysis of narcotic drugs natural and synthetic analgesics using the example of ketamine.» Associate Professors F.A. Pulatova, D.A. Ergashev, and N.K. Chinibekova from the Department of Organic Synthesis at Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute conducted master classes on the topics: «Hydroxy acids,» «Disaccharides,» and «Synthesis of fragrant substances,» respectively. These topics sparked particular interest among participants not only due to the informative nature of the practical sessions but also the methods of their presentation and teaching. Through collaborative work, instructors noted a significant development dynamic in student teamwork, the algorithm of their formation, and ways to achieve efficiency in their work. There was a wide range of opinions during the study of organic chemistry sections. Additionally, through collaborative work, instructors identified a direct correlation between the contribution of individual participants and the overall group’s effectiveness: the higher the quality of each participant’s contribution to the team’s work, the better the team functions. These findings align with research by scholars such as Manfred Gellert and Klaus Novak.<\/p>\n

The staff of the chemistry department and the department of pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry, pharmacognosy, and botany express their special gratitude to the Rectorates of S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University and Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, in particular to Rectors M.E. Shoranov and K.S. Rizaev, Vice-Rectors J.A. Kalmataeva and U.M. Datkhaev, Vice-Rector of Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute Z.U. Mamatkulov, Dean of the «School of Pharmacy» Z.B. Sakipova, Head of the Quality Control Department of Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute D.K. Khudoikulova, heads of departments D.A. Myrzakozha and A.L. Akhelova, for inviting the faculty members of Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, for providing the opportunity for professional development and exchange of experiences.<\/p>\n
