On January 25, 2025, the Department of Language Disciplines, together with students from the International Medical Faculty of S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU, organized an engaging and practical training session on the topic of cross-cultural communication.
\nTraining Objectives:
\nRaising awareness about cultural differences.
\nDeveloping skills for effective communication in a multicultural environment.
\nPromoting respect and tolerance towards representatives of other cultures.
\nTeachers and students actively discussed key topics, including:
\n— What is cross-cultural communication?
\n— How do cultural differences influence communication?
\n— What skills are needed for successful cross-cultural interactions?
\nStudents analyzed real-life examples of cross-cultural interactions, participated in role-playing games, and worked on group tasks aimed at resolving conflict situations.
\nResults:
\n— Participants gained valuable knowledge about cultural differences and their impact on communication.
\n— They developed effective cross-cultural communication skills.
\n— They learned how to identify and avoid common mistakes when interacting with people from different cultures.
\nThe training concluded with an open discussion, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their impressions.
