\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The III International scientific-practical conference «Science and medicine: a modern view of youth»<\/strong>, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by Atchabarov Research Institute of\u00a0Fundamental\u00a0and Applied Medicine and Student\u2019s Scientific Society of Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University took place<\/strong>\u00a0on April 21-22, 2016 in Almaty.<\/p>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 April 21, 2016, the 1st<\/sup> day of conference was dedicated to opening ceremony, plenary sessions, master-classes and city tour.<\/p>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Opening ceremony took place in \u00abConcordia\u00bb at 9.30 with a welcoming speech:\u00a0Vice-Rector — N.K. Khamzina.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 April 22, 2016, the 2nd<\/sup> day of conference was dedicated to sections on key directions. The scientific program of the Conference discussed a wide range of topics, including\u00a0internal medicine, surgical diseases, anesthesiology and resuscitation, pediatrics, dentistry, hygiene and ecology, etc.\u00a0The Conference aimed to band the young scientists and students from 26 universities together, including CIS (Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) in order to discuss achievements and prospects for the development of medical science, exchange of ideas and strengthening of international contacts.<\/p>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Within framework of Conference there were 13 topical sections and one class of Minor Academy of medicine and Biomedicine with the participation of school pupils<\/em>. In total 227 plenary and section reports were presented at the Conference, and 590 theses were published.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Awards Ceremony<\/em>\u00a0was held oh Hall of Fame of KazNMU.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As a result of the Conference KazNMU students won 21 prize places.<\/p>\n

Conference<\/em>\u00a0papers have been published on special issue of <\/em>\u00abInternational Student\u2019s Journal of Medicine<\/a>\u00bb. The electronic version of ISJM posted on the official website of KazNMU www.kaznmu.kz<\/strong><\/a> and on Vkontakte vk.com\/snokaznmu. <\/strong><\/p>\n
