On April 3, 2026, Yermekbay Aibek Amanzholuly, Assistant at the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology No. 1, Chairman of the COP of SOM-1, SOM-2, and MF, participated in the 5th Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cCurrent Issues in Clinical Practice from the Perspective of Evidence-Based Medicine,\u201d organized by the Department of General Medical Practice with a Course in Evidence-Based Medicine at the JSC \u201cAstana Medical University\u201d (Astana).<\/span><\/p>\n

During the conference, Yermekbay A.A. delivered an oral presentation on the topic: \u201cOrganization of the Emergency Medical Assistance System (Code Blue) at the Primary Health Care Level from the Perspective of Evidence-Based Medicine.\u201d The topic is highly relevant in the context of modern healthcare, considering the growing demands for quality and patient safety, as well as the need to implement effective and standardized algorithms for responding to critical conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation covered key aspects of organizing the \u201cCode Blue\u201d system at the primary health care level, including timely recognition of critical conditions, medical staff response algorithms, interdisciplinary interaction, and issues related to staff training and professional development. Special attention was given to integrating evidence-based medicine principles into daily clinical practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation materials were prepared in accordance with the requirements of the national accreditation system, international recommendations, and current regulatory acts, including the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 26, 2023, No. 78 \u201cOn Approval of the Standard for Organizing Anesthesiology and Reanimatology Care in the Republic of Kazakhstan.\u201d The work also utilized accreditation criteria approved by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare External Evaluation Association (ISQua EEA).<\/span><\/p>\n

The theoretical and practical parts of the presentation were based on current clinical recommendations, including the clinical protocol for diagnosis and treatment \u201cSudden Adult Death,\u201d approved by the Joint Commission on Quality of Medical Services of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan (protocol No. 208 dated June 19, 2024), as well as updated recommendations from the American Heart Association (2025) and the European Resuscitation Council Guidelines for Resuscitation (2025).<\/span><\/p>\n

Yermekbay A.A.\u2019s presentation generated significant interest among conference participants due to the high practical relevance of the topic and its alignment with modern healthcare requirements. The report was accompanied by an active discussion, addressing the implementation of the \u201cCode Blue\u201d system in primary health care organizations, improving the efficiency of emergency care, and training medical personnel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participation in the conference allowed for experience exchange with colleagues, discussion of current issues and future prospects in clinical practice, and strengthening of professional connections. The presented materials are of great importance for further improving the emergency medical assistance system and enhancing the quality of medical services at all levels of healthcare.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
