On April 7, 2026, an educational event titled \u201cA Step Toward a Healthy Life\u201d was held at the Department of Epidemiology with the course of HIV Infection and Infection Control at S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, dedicated to World Health Day.<\/p>\n
The main objective of the event was to promote healthy lifestyle principles among students, enhance health awareness, and strengthen knowledge in disease prevention. Special emphasis was placed on fostering personal responsibility for health and promoting preventive medicine approaches.<\/p>\n
The event covered key aspects of a healthy lifestyle, including balanced nutrition, physical activity, mental well-being, prevention of harmful habits, and infectious disease prevention. Interactive discussions and student engagement activities were also incorporated.<\/p>\n
As part of the practical component, students together with advisors visited the \u0413\u043b\u0430\u0432\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u0431\u043e\u0442\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0439 \u0441\u0430\u0434, where they participated in 120 minutes of outdoor physical activity. A total of 50 students took part, gaining hands-on experience in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through movement, nature exposure, and stress reduction.<\/p>\n
Students actively participated, demonstrated strong interest, and gained valuable knowledge on maintaining and improving their health. The event contributed to developing a conscious attitude toward health and reinforcing preventive approaches in medical education.<\/p>\n
