On April 9, 2026, staff from the Department of Propaedeutics of Childhood Diseases at S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University held an event at Specialized Boarding School No. 9 in Almaty for children with speech delays as part of their educational work and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event featured future doctors\u2014third-year students from the School of Pediatrics and the School of Medicine\u2014who delivered an interactive lecture and seminar for students in grades 7-9 on the topical issue of «The Impact of Unhealthy Food on the Health of Growing Children.»<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the students learned about the consequences of poor nutrition, the impact of fast food and sugary drinks on the body, and received helpful recommendations for developing healthy eating habits.<\/p>\n

The interactive format allowed the students to actively participate in the discussion, ask questions, and better understand important information:<\/p>\n

Taking care of their health begins with proper nutrition!<\/p>\n
