Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, jointly with the Scientific and Practical Society of Gastroenterologists of Almaty, will hold the II International Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cInterdisciplinary Management of Liver Diseases\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the event is to improve the professional level of healthcare providers involved in the care of patients with liver and hepatobiliary diseases, based on modern achievements in medical science and practice, principles of evidence-based medicine, and a multidisciplinary approach.<\/p>\n<p>Scientific organizer of the conference: Elena Alekseevna Slavko \u2014 Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine at the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University<\/p>\n<p>The conference program includes a plenary session and sectional meetings in the following areas:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 management of pregnancy in liver diseases;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 liver and metabolic syndrome;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 liver damage in infectious diseases;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 modern laboratory diagnostics of liver and gastrointestinal diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Leading national experts, as well as scientists from the Russian Federation and India, will \u0432\u044b\u0441\u0442\u0443\u043f as speakers at the conference.<\/p>\n<p>The conference invites gastroenterologists, hepatologists, infectious disease specialists, general practitioners, internists, endocrinologists, surgeons, oncologists, endoscopists, radiology specialists, obstetricians-gynecologists, as well as staff of research institutes, scientific centers, and medical universities.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the conference, a poster presentation competition titled \u201cInnovations in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Patients with Gastrointestinal Diseases\u201d will be held.
