19-20 October 2016 at the hotel «the Rixos\u00bb hosted a seminar for teachers of the Faculty of Public Health KazNMU im.S.D.Asfendiyarova «Scientific basis for the implementation of prevention and care for HIV-infection» with the participation of experts from the United States and Ukraine in the framework of project ELF KazNMU cooperation with the internationa.l<\/p>\n

Workshop Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Give an overview of the situation on the epidemiology of HIV in Kazakhstan, including gaps in the cascade of services for HIV;<\/li>\n
  2. Introduce the concept of scientific instruments and examples of \u00abImplementation Science\u00bb (Science of implementation) to address the issue for scale HIV in Kazakhstan;<\/li>\n
  3. Provide science-based strategy to expand assistance for HIV, based on global examples;<\/li>\n
  4. Provide a platform to work together to build research capacity ELF KazNMU them. SD Asfendiyarov on HIV.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a021 October 2016. workshop was held on the basis of the GC AIDS on «An interdisciplinary approach to health care for HIV infection in the United States.»<\/p>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The organization was implemented PPP course «HIV infection and infection control» KazNMU with HZ AIDS Almaty.<\/p>\n
