Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University,\u201d in collaboration with the World Stroke Organization, have the honor to invite you to participate in the International Congress \u201cCurrent Problems of Neurology: Focus on Education and Clinical Practice,\u201d which will be held on May 29\u201330, 2026, in Almaty at: 506\/99 Seifullin Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>The Congress is included in the Media Plan for information support of healthcare initiatives implementation (Appendix 1 to the Order of the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 30, 2026).<\/p>\n<p>The Congress will become an unprecedented event for the medical community of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time in Kazakhstan and the Central Asian region, current leaders of the World Stroke Organization (WSO) and leading international experts in neurology and stroke medicine, who shape contemporary global approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of neurological diseases, will gather on one platform.<\/p>\n<p>The Congress will feature leading international WSO experts, including: Jeyaraj Durai Pandian \u2014 President of WSO, Professor of Neurology, Director of Christian Medical College (Punjab, India); Craig Anderson \u2014 Director of Global Brain Health at The George Institute (Australia), Professor of Neurology and Epidemiology at the University of New South Wales; Valeria Caso \u2014 Treasurer of WSO, Department of Neurology and Stroke, Saronno Hospital \u2013 ASST Valle Olona (Italy); Gustavo Saposnik \u2014 Vice-President of WSO, Director of the Stroke Outcomes and Decision-Making Research Unit at the University of Toronto (Canada).<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the Congress will provide a unique opportunity for professional interaction with global leaders in neurology, discussion of international clinical guidelines, modern educational approaches, and future perspectives for the development of neurological services.<\/p>\n<p>Preliminary registration, Congress information, and the scientific program are available at: <a href=\"https:\/\/conference.neuroassoc.kz\/\" class=\"external external_icon\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/conference.neuroassoc.kz\/<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/news.kaznmu.edu.kz\/eng\/international-congress-current-issues-in-neurology-education-and-clinical-practice\/%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%be%d0%b3%d1%80%d0%b0%d0%bc%d0%bc%d0%b0-%d0%ba%d0%be%d0%bd%d1%84%d0%b5%d1%80%d0%b5%d0%bd%d1%86%d0%b8%d0%b8-3-%d1%8f%d0%b7%d1%8b%d0%ba%d0%b0\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7970\">Program<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Colleagues, The Public Association \u201cAssociation of Neurologists\u201d and the Department of Nervous Diseases of the Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company \u201cS.D.
