As part of the international academic mobility program, from May 18 to May 30, Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University hosted Dilfuza Toirjanovna Abdukadirova, Associate Professor of the Department of Neurology at Andijan State Medical Institute (ASMI, Uzbekistan), Candidate of Medical Sciences.<\/p>\n
The visit took place at the clinical sites of the Department of Nervous Diseases of Asfendiyarov KazNMU. The two-week program was aimed at strengthening inter-university cooperation, exchanging advanced clinical experience, and integrating medical education across Central Asian countries.<\/p>\n
For first- and second-year neurology residents, Dr. Abdukadirova conducted an intensive series of interactive lectures and practical seminars. The program included discussions of complex clinical cases, master classes on topical diagnosis, and joint ward rounds in specialized hospitals. Particular attention was paid to modern protocols for the management of patients with stroke, demyelinating disorders, and rare diseases.<\/p>\n
Upon completion of the academic mobility program, Dr. D.T. Abdukadirova was ceremonially awarded an international certificate recognizing the successful completion of the educational program and her personal contribution to the development of the educational process at the partner university.<\/p>\n
Participation in the International Forum \u201cANaMed Forum \u2013 New Generation\u201d<\/p>\n
During her visit, Dr. D.T. Abdukadirova attended the large-scale International Forum \u201cANaMed Forum \u2013 New Generation,\u201d held on May 21\u201322 at Asfendiyarov KazNMU.<\/p>\n
The central theme of this year\u2019s forum was the implementation of artificial intelligence and personalized technologies in medicine and education. Participation in the forum sessions provided an opportunity to discuss innovative digital solutions, the application of AI in the diagnosis of neurological disorders, medical rehabilitation processes, and new interdisciplinary approaches to training future healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n
Participation in the International Congress of Neurology<\/p>\n
The second major scientific event was Dr. D.T. Abdukadirova\u2019s participation in the large-scale International Congress \u201cCurrent Challenges in Neurology: Focus on Education and Clinical Practice,\u201d held in Almaty on May 29\u201330.<\/p>\n

The Congress became a unique platform, as it was personally attended by the senior leadership of the WSO, headed by the President of the organization, Dr. Jeyaraj Durai Pandian. This provided an opportunity for the international guest, together with Kazakhstani colleagues, to discuss in detail global trends and international standards in the management of acute cerebrovascular diseases.<\/p>\n

The past two weeks marked an important step in the implementation of the bilateral memorandum between Asfendiyarov KazNMU and ASMI.
