From August 3 to 8, 2026, an international course-seminar entitled \u201cModern Pedagogy Based on Learning Outcomes: Teaching, Assessment and Design,\u201d comprising 72 academic hours, was successfully conducted at Alt\u0131nba\u015f University (Istanbul, T\u00fcrkiye).<\/p>\n
The training was attended by representatives of the faculty of the School of Pharmacy of Asfendiyarov KazNMU \u2014 Assistant Professor of the Department of Engineering Disciplines and Good Practices Aktolkyn Kinyazbekovna Ibadullayeva, Lecturer of the Department of Pharmacognosy with a Course in Botany Akzhanas Ermekovna Khamitova, as well as representatives of the faculty of other schools\/faculties of the University.<\/p>\n
The course was aimed at developing applied competencies among faculty members in the design, implementation and assessment of the educational process based on learning outcomes (Learning Outcomes Approach). Particular attention was paid to the implementation of modern pedagogical tools aimed at improving the quality of education, ensuring transparency in assessment and developing a student-centered approach.<\/p>\n
The course program included six interconnected modules, ranging from the conceptual foundations of outcome-based education and instructional design to active learning methods, criterion-based assessment, feedback mechanisms, and practical testing of the acquired knowledge in a workshop format. This comprehensive approach enabled participants not only to systematize their theoretical knowledge but also to transform it into specific educational solutions applicable to the learning process.<\/p>\n
Participation in the international educational project contributed to expanding the professional horizons of faculty members, integrating advanced international experience and developing new methodological approaches to the organization of education. The results obtained provide a foundation for the further implementation of innovative practices in the University’s educational programs and for enhancing their competitiveness at the international level.<\/p>\n
The implementation of such initiatives directly contributes to achieving the target indicators of the University Development Program,<\/strong> in particular, increasing the proportion of faculty members under the age of 45 who have completed education and internships abroad, including through the international \u201cBolashak\u201d program.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
