V INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE «FORMATION AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL OF PHARMACY: CONTINUITY OF GENERATIONS»

June 30 held the V International Scientific and Practical Conference «FORMATION AND PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL OF PHARMACY: PREMISE OF GENERATIONS», dedicated to the memory of Professor Dilbarkhanov R.D. The conference was organized by the School of Pharmacy of the Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU) named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.

Rakhim Dilbarkhanovich Dilbarkhanov — Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scientist, teacher, who made a great contribution to the development of pharmacy. Since 1974 his labor activity is connected with pharmaceutical faculty (now school of pharmacy) of the largest medical university of Kazakhstan. For many years he headed the department of technology of dosage forms, 20 years was the dean of the faculty. He made a great contribution to the training of scientific and pedagogical staff. Among his pupils are 12 doctors of pharmaceutical sciences, 33 candidates of pharmaceutical sciences, PhD and master’s students. Many of them work in the School of Pharmacy, making a great contribution to the training of qualified pharmaceutical personnel.

In memory of the outstanding scientist, teacher, School of Pharmacy of KazNMU holds scientific-practical conferences with international participation. This year the participants of the conference made reports on topical areas of pharmacy:
1. organizational and economic issues of pharmaceutical activity and marketing research of the drug market.
2. Modern technologies, production of pharmaceuticals of synthetic and natural origin and medical devices.
3. Quality control and standardization of medicinal preparations
4. Pharmacognostic analysis of medicinal plant raw materials, standardization of medicines of plant origin.
5. Topical issues of clinical pharmacy, pharmacology and clinical pharmacology.
6. Modern state and prospects of development of cosmeceuticals and cosmetology.
7. Modern biological/biotechnological medicinal preparations. Actual issues of development and prospects of use.
8. The concept of quality assurance of medicines and medical devices within the framework of GxP.

The conference was held in online and offline formats. The peculiarity of the conferences dedicated to the memory of Dilbarkhanov R.D. is in the continuity of generations: along with experienced scientists, many young pharmacists: students, master’s students, doctoral students made presentations. Some of the reports were presented in the form of posters. The moderator of the conference — Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor G.O. Ustenova.

With a welcoming speech to the participants of the conference addressed the Vice Rector of KazNMU on corporate development Professor Datkhaev U.M., Dean of School of Pharmacy Professor Sakipova Z.B., Associate Professor Begaliev S.S. With interesting reports made by Professors Mamudjanova K.S. (Tashkent Research Institute of Vaccines and Sera), Tjadjono Dariono Hadi (Bandung, Indonesia), Dean of School of Pharmacy Sakipova Z.B., Head of the Department of Biotechnology Zhaparkulova K.A. and guests of the conference Professor Turgumbaeva A.A. (KazNU named after Al-Farabi), Maul T.A., Director of the International Center for Human Bioplasm Recovery, Omyrzakov M.T., Director of «GxP company» LLP.

The results of original research were presented in the speeches and Master Masakbaev A.D. («Technology of obtaining a new semi-synthetic antibiotic») and 2nd year student Diyar B. («Analysis of modifications of antibiotic structures based on QSAR modeling methods»).

In the poster section the jury headed by Prof. Boshkaeva A.K. determined the winners:
1st place — Mubarak E.A., Alimova U.S. «Cultivation of rain Hematococcus (Haematococcus pluvialis)».
2nd place — Baydarbekova G., Ustenova G.O. «Development of composition, technology and quality criteria of medicines with camel thorn extract (Alhagi kirghisorum Schrenk)».
3rd place — Nesinbek A.B., Turuspaeva J.J., Kadyrbaeva G.M. «Development of composition of diuretic action collection from domestic plant raw materials».

It is symbolic that relatives of Rakhim Dilbarkhanovich, representatives of the dynasty of pharmacists Dilbarkhanovs were present at the conference. The wife of Rakhim Dilbarkhanovich Karbaeva Mairane is an excellent public health worker of the Kazakh SSR and the Republic of Kazakhstan, teacher of the highest category, teaches pharmacology and Latin language in Almaty Higher Medical College.
