Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University congratulates Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Maksut Karimovich Kulzhanov on the high government award – the Order of Parasat

Kulzhanov Maksut Karimovich has extensive experience in management and research activities. Over the years, Maksut Karimovich was the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the rector of the Higher School of Public Health, the first general director of the Republican State Enterprise at the RPV “Republican Center for Health Development” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As the founder of the Kazakhstan School of Public Health, Maksut Karimovich achieved recognition at the world level.

Today Kulzhanov M.K. is a professor at the Department of Health Policy and Management at Asfendiyarov KazNMU, chairman of the board of the NGO “Republican Medical Chamber”, chairman of the dissertation council of KazNMU in the specialty “Public Health”. Acts as a member of various international councils and represents the interests of domestic healthcare in the international arena. For more than 30 years, he has actively participated in meetings of the World Health Organization. Professor Kulzhanov M.K. More than 100 doctors and candidates of medical sciences have been trained. He is the author of more than 200 scientific publications.
